This tutorial is a simple but effective technique using a dramatic motion blur to bring the focal point of an image to the forefront. It is my own rendition of the one by Dave Cross for the NAPP site but since not every one here has access to that site and the technique is so effective I thought I would share it with every one.

I would also like to think ~matomouro for allowing me to use his terrific photo >> [link] << for the focal point.

I am sorry that the image is in B&W but I desiderated it to save on file size.

Thank you all for stopping by,

Barry

Umm, lol, I can't here what you said on the part after inversing the image. Was it "shift+tab+enter"? I don't know because I tried variations of what I think you said but it still doesn't work. Sorry that I'm a deaf idiot(I think I have dislexia, seriously).

Thank you for the comment. I have been thinking of taking that tutorial down. It is a very handy technique but I am not really happy with it. Perhaps I will leave it up. We will see.

Anyway thank you again for the comment and have a wonderful day,

barry

I know this technique, I often use it to increase the attention on an object by motion bluring everything else. Really nice effective tutorial, just a shame you had to alter the picture so that you could submit it here!
Nice one, really.
Thanks for using my photo. :)

Yes I didnt want to alter it. The image was great. It really did work well when I did it full size. the sad thing was that the effict could hardly be seen on the video for the smaller image. :(

Thank you fro the comment
